Assistant Tennis Professional in Miami Florida

A Brand new Tennis Facility in Miami, Florida is seeking a full time Assistant Tennis Professional to help create, administer , coach, teach and train all levels of play juniors to adults. The qualified tennis professional will have a unique opportunity to work directly with the director of tennis (Jane Forman) and be instrumental in every aspect of the start up Academy.
The new tennis facility will have 9 hard courts (6 lighted+, 3 pickleball courts) and a large back wall for training. In addition a small office/pro-shop, all purpose room, and bathrooms. The tennis facility is privately owned by a prominent private school but will be open to the public for yearlong programming.
The position of Tennis Professional will be best suited for the pro with an entrepreneurial mentality and willingness to be on the court long hours. If qualified, this professional will have a hand in all aspects of tennis programing from creation to implementation. Programs to include but not limited to, junior after school programs, camps, tournaments such as UTR, lessons and more. In addition, adult clinics, leagues, and lessons. Levels at the academy will range from beginners to high performance.

The Tennis Professional will work directly under, and in conjunction with Jane Forman. A former WTA player with 33 years of tennis and facility management experience.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

Experience at a minimum of Assistant Tennis Professional.

Minimum of 3-5 years coaching experience
-
Certified by uspta or usptr or equivalent
-
Experience in teaching Junior and adult tennis players of all levels

Willingness to teach long hours
-
Professional tennis background (playing or coaching)

Strong references from highly qualified or well known coaches.

Ability to work in USA
