HIGH QUALITY TENNIS FOUNDATION
Kids achieving their full potential is at the forefront of what we are working together towards. The programs and activities of our foundation are designed to be a catalyst that helps kids achieve their full potential. A large percentage of kids who find love with the sport of tennis end up losing interest due to a lack of resources and support. High Quality Tennis Foundation supports kids with resources such as equipment, clothing, organizing tournaments, group clinics and academic materials.
THE STORY OF THE FOUNDER

High Quality Tennis Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose aim is to provide for the less privileged and to put smiles on the face of every kid in the community. Our goal is to help revitalize tennis at the Winneba Tennis Academy and provide the players with a wide range of opportunities to continue their careers after high school. The foundation was founded through the motivation of a former Winneba Tennis Academy player whose desire was to give back to the Tennis Academy. The Winneba Tennis Academy Head Coach Noah Bukari gave the founder a home and took him off the streets.
Eric Okyere
Through such a kind act it helped awaken his purpose as he looked toward the future. Eric Okyere, the founder believed that if he himself was not able to reach higher levels such as the ATP and Grand Slams, his goal became to help the athletes in the next generation get to that level of play. Eric also believes in the importance of a better education for all kids. He makes it part of his agenda to see that all kids get a higher quality education and tutoring options for those who desire extra help.
The foundation is located in the western part of Africa Ghana and it’s in the central part of Ghana. We have 3 qualified coaches and supported by 1 player. We have 30 to 40 kids combine with the advanced players and we are looking forward to recruit more kids to help them get off the streets to come play tennis, now as a fresh foundation we are reaching out to the world for support with tennis equipment and academic materials to help these kids through mentoring and tutoring. We have advanced junior players and senior players as well! that is also part of our plans to support these players travel the world to play tournaments and prepare them to go pro and also help them further their education in the outside colleges.
We are lucky to partner with an American Organization called Building Blocks Mentoring Program (BBMP) that is supporting us with what they can and I believe we can get more of it kind to make lives better for these kids and the community. Let’s make the world a better place to live in for the next generation.
