Message from Spec Tennis founder Nate Gross
I've got some exciting news---we are rolling out an App for Spec Tennis very soon! I think the App will be a gamechanger for Spec Tennis and help it grow even faster. It's essential that we start getting Spec Tennis "Clubs" set up on the app before we launch the app to all players so that players find the app useful right away.

The app has many available functions but just to name a few:
•Players can Find Places to Play & players to play with
•"Clubs" can be formed--new players & visiting players can join your "Club"
•Leagues & Tournaments can be run easily
Before we launch the app, here is What I Need From You:
•Let me know if you'd like to start a "Club"
I will add your club to the app, and create a club logo if you'd like.
If you'd like to form a "Club", please let me know the following:
• The name of the club (Ex: San Francisco Spec Tennis)
•When and where you play (It's best if you can have a weekly playtime, this will help your club grow faster)
(Even if you don't have a 'regular' playtime yet, let's still get a Club set up for you (and focus on getting a regular playtime later)
Happy Holidays!
Best, Nate Gross

Tennis Canada is proud of the Distinguished Service Award program because it recognizes individuals and organizations that have made a significant long-term contribution to the growth of tennis in Canada.
All Canadian Sports Management’s work through the “Growing the Game” initiative, which has allowed tennis to continue to thrive during COVID-19, makes the organization a worthy recipient of this award.

Tennis Software Co. Faults Retailer For 'TennisPoint' Branding
A Georgia-based company that develops sports software for tennis players accused a tennis clothes and equipment retailer of trademark infringement and unfair competition in a new federal complaint, arguing the retailer is wrongfully using "TennisPoint" branding.
TennisPoint.com Inc. sued Midwest Sports Supply LLC in Georgia federal court.... According to the suit, after Midwest Sports Supply was acquired by a new company in May, it began using "TennisPoint" to market its tennis retail store operations, among other services. And, to add insult to injury, since then the company has undertaken an "aggressive advertising campaign" using the allegedly infringing marks to drive sales from advertisements on a variety of platforms, according to the complaint and a corresponding emergency motion for a preliminary injunction.
