XTP-Extended Racquet Butt Caps

John Keller has been working on this patented product the XTP-Xtended Tennis Product for a couple of years since realizing a product like this was not offered but needed in the racquet and paddle sports fields. He originally developed this elongated butt cap for his XTP line of paddle tennis paddles when the sport of Paddle Tennis decided they would, in fact, allow 18.5-inch paddles to be legally used in the sport, this was half-inch longer than the legal 18-inch paddle currently used.

As he developed and designed and prototyped butt caps for a full production he realized that in fact, the larger market for a product like this would in be the Tennis racquet Industry, as he realized nothing like this simple little product was offered to customize the length of a racquet or paddle. And with the huge growth of pickleball, he was getting XTP caps on pickleball paddles.

Michael Chang put the XL tennis racquet on the map when he used a 28 inch racquet years ago, and there are now a good many models of racquets longer than the standard 27 inches, but nothing like simply changing the factory butt cap to slightly add overall length has been offered.

The XTP butt with HeatFit technology cap can fit any manufacturer's racquet that has a removable butt cap to add half an inch or slightly more to the overall length.

John says, "I did finally get four sizes of my XTP butt cap into full production and it has had a very very interested group of players and users now for the past year. I now have a UK distributor, Racquet Depot, that is handling most of Europe and Top Serve Tennis distributor in Australia. And I myself have shipped these butt caps in moderate quantities all over the world."

"I feel a product like this should be carried in every tennis pro shop so when a customer brings in a racquet for stringing they can now slightly stretch a racquet as well."
