Since 1991, NGI has researched, developed, designed, and engineered sports surfacing systems that shape great sport playing areas.

This month's issue of NGI news is reflecting on the year 2020 for them and informs us what's going on in the industry and with that company.

2020: A Year In Review

What a year 2020 was for so many and for so many different reasons - not least of which has been the global pandemic which is still with us! Businesses everywhere suffered never-before-seen problems to just survive.

Thanks to you, our dealers, and customers, NGI Sports® has had another strong year and we look forward to a new season in 2021, however, NGI Sports® encourages everyone to remain vigilant and follow all prescribed precautions, and to STAY SAFE.

Though a rather tumultuous year, NGI continued to provide product innovations with our “Overlay Renovation Technology®”, and maintained production and flow of materials into the market. NGI again brought the highest quality synthetic grass surfaces with ease of installation and unmatched longevity to the recreational arena, setting the industry standard for excellence throughout 2020.

2020 began with the planning of the annual seminars in conjunction with Fred Kolkmann Tennis & Sport Surfaces, LLC.

Our patent-pending Pickleball surfacing system, TitanTrax PK®, was announced as being the only surface specifically designed for Pickleball play.

Featured surfaces were TitanTrax CPR for crack repair on running tracks along with TitanTrax Air® and TitanTrax Shield® for running tracks surfacing.

NGI re-introduced our surfaces designed for bocce, the NovaBocce® Classico and Raffa.

There were new additions to our ProBounce® product applications including reconstructing over pulverized asphalt.

NGI managed a tennis court rebuild for Edgerton High School in Edgerton, WI utilizing NGI’s patented ProBounce® tennis surfacing system. Also, our patented ProBounce® tennis surfacing system received an award for Outstanding Tennis Court Facility from ASBA for the installation at Ripp Park Tennis Complex (9 courts) at the Village of Waunakee in Waunakee, WI. Working in conjunction with other ASBA members, Ace Sports, and Fred Kolkmann Tennis & Sports Surfaces, this was a distinguished honor for this unique surface.
