Since 1991, NGI has researched, developed, designed, and engineered sports surfacing systems that shape great sport playing areas.
NGI reports in their latest newsletter under Product Line Developments:
TitanTrax Air has been introduced for indoor and outdoor urethane and acrylic finished athletic floors. Projects include urethane poured jogging tracks on Air at Maxwell Air Force Base and an indoor multi-sport floor for basketball, volleyball and tennis at Thayer Academy in Boston MA.
Advanced Overlay Technology and TitanTrax Shield was introduced to new geographic markets in North America with over two million square feet of surfacing.
ProBounce installations have expanded into secondary schools and public parks as a more cost-effective option than re-building or post-tension applications.
TitanTrax Shield was recognized by the American Sports Builders Association as a “Game Changer for Tennis”, and won their 2019 award.
A patent is pending for TitanTrax PK.
Some of the latest NGI installations:
Maine South High School in Park Ridge, Illinois, opened its new tennis center this year. It featured a ProBounce overlay. The school rehabilitated their old courts by grinding up the old asphalt, laying a rock base and then the ProBounce directly over the rock.
The Thoreau Club in Concord, Massachusetts, converted their old clay courts to the ProCourt XP sand filled turf.
Thompson Park in Sterling, Illinois, has installed the NGI patented pickle ball overlay system TitanTrax PK
Thayer Academy in Braintree, Massachusetts, is also a member of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council and completed the installation of the multipurpose indoor TitanTrax Air surface. Tennis and Basketball are the main features here for the student body.
